Second Morning

I didn't sleep at all last night. I kept looking through the small opening in the dirt wall I made to see what was going on. I got a better look at the skeletons, and it looks like they were holding bows. My guess is that they can probably use them, but I'm not anxious to find out.

As the sun rose, the zombie-things and the skeletons caught fire again. As soon as I was sure it was safe, I dug my way out of the cave and immediately set about getting some materials. I pulled some wood off of a tree and make a portable work bench of sorts and a wooden pick to dig out some coal I saw in the wall of my cave. I got a few stone fragments too and figured I'd find a use for them eventually.

Anyways, I'm headed farther East to continue searching for any signs of civilization.

Where Am I !?!

After leaving the mountain, I ended up heading West. The snow gave way in a surprisingly short journy across some frozen ice and it had started to heat up a bit to the point where it was comfortable. Things seemed to be looking up.
And then I ran into them.

The first was a skeleton who was just standing there under a tree. I instantly started running and when I looked over my shoulder I saw that he had stepped into the sunlight and started burning.
The next one was green and looked like he was decaying. For now, I'm going to call it a zombie since that's what it most seemed like. This time, I watched the creature from afar, and like the skeleton it burst into flames when it stepped in the sunlight.

Naturally, I thought that the sunlight would be the safest place to stay. But then the third one came...

This creature was... strange. It seemed to have the body of a man with four stubby legs and no arms. The part that scared me the most about these creatures is that they could survive in the sunlight. One saw me at one point and started chasing me, but I managed to lose it in a small grove of trees.

Now the sun is setting, and I have no idea how to get away from this place. I'm currently hiding in a cave to avoid the mosteres. I put up some dirt to block the enterance.

I'm just hoping this is a dream and that it will all end soon...

Stranded

Alright, so after having to jump over a spot where the ground had eroded, slipping on some ice and into freezing water, and having to dig up clods of dirt to make a small staircase, I finally reached the top of the mountain and have discovered two things:

1) I'm alone. There's no sign of human existence for miles.

2) A pig. Yep, there was a pig on top of the hill. Don't ask me how, I don't know, but there it was.

I'm doing my best to keep myself from panicing so as to figure a plan of action. My plan is to go as far south as I can go and see if I can find anyone, and if I don't find anyone, then at least I'll be out of this blasted snow!

A Strange Morning

So, I woke up this morning to find myself lying in some snow on a beach in the middle of nowhere. Even though I was a bit stunned by how bizarre it was to see snow on sand, My immediate concern is figuring out where the hell I am and how I ended up here. Thinking of climbing that nearby hill to see if I can spot any signs of civilization. From there I can work on getting home.

And seriously, what is up with all this damn snow?
